C . M.P.No.19045 of 2017 in C.M.A.No.SR.61181 of 2017 V.M.VELUMANI,J.

This petition is filed to condone the delay of 199 days in filing the above said appeal.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner filed appeal with regard to quantum of compensation and hence, notice to the 2nd respondent is not necessary.

3.Though notice served on the 1st respondent and his name is printed in the cause list, there is no representation on behalf of the 1st respondent either in person or through counsel.

4.Considering the contention of the learned counsel for the petitioner, the delay of 199 days is condoned on payment of cost of Rs.500/- (Rupees Five Hundred only) to 'Kaakkum Karangal' (Old age Home) at No.212/54, Amman Kovil Street (near chicken market), Parrys, Chennai 600 001. [Cell No.9840068800/ 9840068889], within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, failing which, this petition shall stand dismissed automatically, without further reference to this Court.
