PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure to direct the 2nd respondent herein not to harass the petitioner.

The present Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondents police not to harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents police.

3. Today when the petition came up for hearing, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, would submit that upon the complaint given by one Kannammal, the 2nd respondent police initiated an enquiry against the petitioner in C.S.R.No.331 of 2019 and the same has been closed on 05.12.2019. is pending against the petitioner herein.

4. In view of the same, in the absence of any complaint against the petitioner, question of harassment does not arise.

With the above observation, the Criminal Original Petition is closed.
