Prayer : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, for issuance of Writs of Mandamus directing the 3rd respondent to consider the representation given by the petitioner Association dated 01.10.2024 and direct the 3rd respondent to conduct free and fair election in the 5th respondent association by following the guidelines passed by this court in W.P.No.3447 of 2019.

O R D E R

This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the 3rd respondent to consider the representation given by the petitioner Association dated 01.10.2024 and direct the 3rd respondent to conduct free and fair election in the 5th respondent association by following the guidelines passed by this court in W.P.No.3447 of 2019.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that the petitioner has made a representation dated 01.10.2024 to the 3rd respondent herein listing out all the infirmities and seeking to conduct a fair election and though the same has been received by the third respondent, no action has been taken till date. Hence, the present petition.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that this Court may direct the respondents to consider his representation and pass appropriate orders within the reasonable time as fixed by this Court.

4. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and perused the materials available on record. Since no adverse orders are passed against the respondents, notice to the respondent is dispensed with.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the limited request sought for by the petitioner, this Court directs the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 01.10.2024 on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
