ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent not to harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner had received a sum of Rs.11,65,000/- for securing a seat for the daughter of the defacto complainant in post graduation degree course, M.Sc.Audiology at Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education Porur. The grievance of the petitioner is that under the guise of enquiry, the respondent is harassing the petitioner. Hence, the present petition.

3. The learned Government Advocate [Criminal Side] appearing for the respondent on instructions submitted that even after receipt of summons, the petitioner had not appeared before the respondent and produced the documents sought by the respondent.

4. In such view of the matter, the respondent shall issue summon once again to the petitioner and on receipt of summon, the petitioner is directed to cooperate for the enquiry. If the petitioner is not co-operating for the enquiry, it is for the respondent to take action as per law.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
