ORDER

This Contempt Petition has been filed to punish the respondents for non compliance of the order dated 31.07.2024 passed by this Court in W.P.No.21879 of 2024, thereby directing the respondents to pay interest on the belated payment of interest amount of provident fund, gratuity, earned leave salary commutation and other unsettle benefits of arrears of surrender leave salary for the year of 2009-2011 & 2017-2018, ERBS pension and 7 days salary with effect from 21.09.2020 at the rate of 6% per annum, within a period of twelve weeks.

The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents submitted that as directed by this Court, the respondents disbursed all the arrears amount along with interest to the petitioner. He also produced a calculation memo along with payment details, before this Court. 3.

Recording the above submissions, the Contempt Petition stands closed. If there are any grievances over the calculation made by the respondents, the petitioner is at liberty to challenge the same in the manner known to law, if so advised.
