Crl.O.P.No.27328 of 2023 C.V.KARTHIKEYAN, J.

The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 03.09.2023 for the offences punishable under Section 5(1) r/w Section 6 of the Protection of Child From Sexual Offences Act, 2012 in Crime No.4 of 2023, seeks bail.

2.No further orders are required, since by an order dated 29.11.2023, the petitioner had been granted interim bail with condition that he should surrender on 12.12.2023.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner stated that the petitioner had surrendered before the POCSO Court, Chengalpet. This fact is also ascertained on the side of the respondent. 4.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner sought permission of this Court to withdraw this Criminal Original Petition and he has also made the following endorsement to that effect: "Kindly permit to withdraw this petition with liberty to move mandatory bail under Section 167(2) Cr.P.C. Hence this petition may be dismissed as withdrawn."
