2. The statement of the victim girl indicates the involvement of the petitioner in the commission of a sexual offence.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police, opposed the grant of bail to the petitioner and submitted that the investigation is still pending.

4. Taking note of the fact that the petitioner had allegedly misbehaved with a minor child with the intention of committing penetrative sexual assault, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
