Prayer Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of mandamus directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 10.02.2025 and 09.04.2025 and issue computer patta in the name of the Sri Kariyamanika Perumal Thiru Kovil including the lands in survey Nos.367/41, 367/42, 367/60 and 367/66 situated at Pondvakkam Village, Uthukottai Taluk, Thiruvallur District- 602 026.

With consent, the main Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself. 2/6

This Writ Petition is filed for the following relief:- i) For issuance of a mandamus directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representations dated 10.02.2025 and 09.04.2025 and issue computer patta in the name of the petitioner-Temple, ''Sri Kariyamanika Perumal Thiru Kovil'' including the lands in survey Nos.367/41, 367/42, 367/60 and 367/66 situated at Pondvakkam Village, Uthukottai Taluk, Thiruvallur District.
3. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner would be satisfied if the representation made by them seeking for aforesaid prayer is considered and disposed of in a time bound manner.
4. The learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents fairly submitted that the representation made by the petitioner would be considered and disposed of in accordance with law and computer patta would be issued within a week's time.
5. In view of the submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader for respondents and considering the limited scope of the prayer, sought for by the petitioner, in this Writ Petition, this Court, 3/6
without expressing any view with regard to the merits of the contentions putforth by the petitioner either in the Writ Petition or in the representations, is of the view that, suffice it would be to direct the respondents to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation in a time bound manner.
6. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to consider the representation made by the petitioner's dated 10.02.2025 and the subsequent representation dated 09.04.2025 and pass appropriate orders with regard to the issuance of computer patta in the name of the Temple, called ''Sri Kariyamanika Perumal Thiru Kovil'' within a two weeks' from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
