This writ petition has been filed challenging the Notification No.3 / 2023 dated 25.10.2023.

When the matter came up for hearing on 28.08.2024, this Court passed the following order :- This writ petition has been filed challenging the proceedings of the second respondent pertaining to the Notification dated 25.10.2023 and for a direction to the respondents to declare the results of the petitioner, who attended the interview on 12.6.2014 in respect of the recruitment as graduate teacher/block resource teacher educator.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the first respondent and the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the second respondent.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that during the pendency of this writ petition, the petitioner was permitted to write the examinations, 2/5

that the petitioner had cleared both the examinations and that in view of the same, a direction may be issued to the respondents to consider the marks scored by the petitioner and select and appoint the petitioner to the post of graduate teacher.

4. The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the second respondent shall take instructions in this regard and inform this Court.

5. Registry is directed to print the name of Ms.S.Mythreyee Chandru, learned Special Government Pleader in the cause list. Post this case under the caption for passing orders on 29.8.2024 at 2.15 PM. 3.

The learned Additional Advocate General appearing on behalf of 2nd respondent submitted that the examinations that were cleared by the petitioner pertained to the notification dated 25.10.2023. Merely because the petitioner has passed the examination, that by itself is not a ground to select the petitioner unless the petitioner has satisfied all the other qualifications. The learned Additional Advocate General further submitted that the process of selection is already complete. 3/5

In view of the above, there shall be a direction to the 2nd respondent to convey their decision to the petitioner with respect to the request made by the petitioner to consider his selection and appointment to the post of graduate teacher. This process shall be completed within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
