ORDER

With the consent of both the parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. The challenge in the present Writ Petition is to a Charge Memo issued on 10.01.2019 by the fourth respondent/President.

3. Though several grounds have been raised in the Writ Petition challenging the Charge Memo itself, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that he is not pressing any of these grounds and since the disciplinary proceedings have been pending for almost five years, the petitioner would be satisfied if a direction is given to the Disciplinary 2/4

Authority, to conclude the proceedings, within a stipulated time.

4. In the light of the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, there shall be a direction to the fourth respondent herein, to conclude the disciplinary proceedings initiated pursuant to the Charge Memo dated 10.01.2019, as expeditiously as possible, in any event, within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
