Mr.J.C.Durairaj, learned Additional Government Pleader accepts notice for the respondents and is armed with requisite instructions to enable final disposal of this matter, even at the stage of admission.
2. He states that the application filed by the petitioner dated 10.10.2023 seeking directions to issue a legal heirship certificate consequent on the demise of his father one Selvaraj, has been received. He assures the Court and the petitioner that the application will be disposed expeditiously.
3. Hence, mandamus is issued to R3, Tahsildar, Alandur, Chengalpet District to issue notice to the petitioner as well as any other person, who he may deem necessary, hear them and pass orders on the application of the petitioner dated 10.10.2023 seeking legal heirship certificate, in accordance with law, within a period of six (6) weeks from date of receipt of a copy of this order.
