PRAYER Directing the 3rd respondent Tahsildar, Velachery Chennai to comply with the order dated 4.07.2025 passed by the 2nd respondent Revenue divisional officer in proceedings No. A4/ 1996/ 2025 by issuing corrected patta in favour of the petitioners property Urur Village comprised in TS No. 8/3 , 8/4 and Block No. 40 the original survey numbers were TS No.1 part and S.No. 127 part and 17 part which were subsequently revised association by deleting the excess area of 415 sq.ft from Bagya Block patta and restoring the same to Sriram Block as per their respective sale deeds documents and UDS Entitlements For Petitioner(s):

ORDER
The grievance of the petitioner in this writ petition is that excess land for an extent of 415 sq.ft. has been included in the pattas issued to the petitioner's neighbours viz., the fourth to ninth and eleventh respondents herein. The details of the property are morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition.

The learned Government Advocate appearing for the official respondents have placed on record the proceedings of the second respondent dated 04.07.2025, which confirms that excess land measuring for an extent of 415 sq.ft. has been included in the pattas issued in favour of the fourth to ninth and eleventh respondents of this writ petition, which actually belongs to the
petitioner.

However, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the official respondents would submit that the land owners including the petitioner will have to apply through online to the Tahsildar for a fresh issuance of patta in their names for the extent of 415 sq.ft., which was earlier erroneously included in the pattas issued to the private respondents. Once the said application is filed, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the official respondents would submit that pattas will be issued to the land owners for the extent of 415 sq.ft. provided supporting documents are produced by the land owners, which includes the petitioner.

After hearing the submissions made by both the counsels, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the petitioner and the other land owners, who are entitled for 415 sq.ft. for the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition, to submit a fresh online applications seeking for issuance of pattas in their names with the third respondent, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On receipt of the said online applications within the stipulated time, the third respondent shall issue pattas in favour of the land owners, which includes the petitioner for the extent of 415 sq.ft. for the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition based on the proceedings of the second respondent dated 04.07.2025 within a
period of six weeks thereafter. No Costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
