ORDER

Mr.G.Velu, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice on behalf of the Respondents.

2. This Writ Petition has been filed for a Mandamus to direct the respondents to process the Challan number 2024/0123/07/004767 dated 28.10.2024 for Survey No.89/1A2 and to do the survey and to fix the boundaries in respect of my property, situated at Pavandur Madura Mettukuppam Village, Tiruvennainallur Taluk, Villupuram District.

3. Heard the learned counsel on either side.

4. Considering the request of the Petitioner and also the fact that the Petitioner has made a representation as early as on 28.10.2024 and has also paid the necessary fees for surveying the subject property, a mandamus is issued to the Respondents to dispose of the Petitioner's representation dated 28.10.2024 for conducting survey and fixing boundaries in the petition Page No. 2 of 4

mentioned property. The Petitioner shall submit all the relevant records to show their title to the property and the Respondents shall, after issuing notice to the adjacent land owners and interested parties, hold an enquiry and thereafter, proceed to pass orders either surveying and subdividing the property or rejecting the request. In the case of a rejection, a speaking order shall be passed. The aforesaid exercise shall be completed within a period of three (3) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.

5. With the above directions, the Writ Petition stands allowed. No costs.
