This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to quash the First Information Report in Crime No.144 of 2023 on the file of the second respondent.

2. Heard Mr.C.K.M.Appaji, learned counsel for petitioners and Mr.A.Damodaran, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for respondents 1 and 2.

3. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that investigation in the case has been completed and charge sheet has been filed before the Judicial Magistrate IV, Coimbatore. 2/4

4. In the light of the above development, the relief as sought for by the petitioners cannot be granted. The learned Judicial Magistrate IV, Coimbatore, is directed to act upon the final report within a period of four (4) weeks. If ultimately, the concerned Court takes cognizance and summons is issued to the petitioners and the petitioners are aggrieved by the same, it will be left open to them to work out their remedy in accordance with law.

This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above direction.
