ORDER
This writ petition has been filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 3rd respondent to survey the land measuring about acres 0.10 1⁄2 cents out of the total extent of acres 0.24 cents in Survey No. 206/2, Ulagapuram Village, Vanur Taluk comprised within the Registration District of Tindivanam, Villupuram and ear-mark the boundaries for the same.
2. The petitioner made representation dated 07.03.2019 before the 1st respondent to survey and measure the land admeasuring to an extent of 0.10 1⁄2 cents out of the total extent of 0.24 cents comprised in Survey No.206/2 situated at https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
Ulagapuram Village, Vanur Taluk comprised within the Registration District of Tindivanam, Villupuram.

On written instructions from the 1st respondent, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents submitted that the petitioner submitted application to survey and measure the property comprised in S.No.206/2 under Patta No.833 stands in the names of the petitioner and one Pandurangan S/o.Samykannu, as joint patta without any partition. Therefore, on field inspection and also verification of document, the 1st respondent stated that the request made by the petitioner cannot be considered, since the petitioner had purchased the undivided share from one of the shareholders and also the boundaries differs.
4. In view of the above, this writ petition is devoid of merits and it is liable to be dismissed. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed. No costs.
