When the matter is taken up for hearing on 10.11.2021, this Court passed the following order:
"None appeared for the petitioner.
2. Mr.V.Nanmaran, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents submits that the petitioner was initially running the business in the name and style of "Moon Star Ayurvedic Massage Centre" situated at No.8/274, Kambar Street, Vijayanagaram, Vinayagapuram, Medavakkam, Chennai- 600 100. submits that this morning (i.e.10.11.2021), he has received an oral instruction from the respondent police, that the petitioner is not running the business in the above said premises and now, it is closed.
Therefore, he submitted that no useful purpose would be served in retaining this Writ Petition and this may be closed as infructuous."
2.Today also there is no representation for the petitioner. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents once again submits that the petitioner has vacated the premises and the matter has become infructuous.
3.Though the learned Government Advocate submits that the matter has become infructuous, there is no representation for the petitioner on the couple of occasion, which shows that the petitioner is not interested in prosecuting the case. Hence, this Writ Petition is dismissed for non-prosecution. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs.
