ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) Petitioner has filed the writ petition seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing respondent Nos.1 and 2 to provide police protection to the petitioner's family to live in her house at No.11A/39, Nellukara Street, Big Kancheepuram, Kancheepuram District, which was unlawfully demolished by the third respondent contrary to the order of the High Court, by considering the representation of petitioner dated 23.3.2020 on the file of respondent Nos.1 and 2.

2. After almost three years, this application to join proposed respondent as respondent No.4 has been filed. In the entire application, it is not set out anywhere as to why the bank is a proper and necessary party. In the affidavit, it is stated that at various stages bank had given undertakings in certain proceedings. However, the orders passed in those proceedings were much before this writ petition was filed and if bank was a necessary party, bank should have been added as a respondent at that stage

itself. Therefore, in our view, no case for joining the bank as respondent No.4 is made out.

Application is dismissed.
