ORDER
The contempt petition is filed to punish the respondents for committing contempt of Court in not obeying the order of this Court passed in WP.No.323/2024 dated 12.01.2024.
2.This Court, vide order dated 12.01.2024, passed the following order:- "3.Having regard to the limited nature of the relief sought in this Writ Petition, this Court without expressing any view on the merits of the controversy involved in the matter, passes the following order:- (i)the First Respondent shall immediately examine the representation dated 31.05.2023 made by the Petitioners including ascertaining as to whether the Petitioners would be entitled for the relief claimed;
(ii)if it is found that any other details or supporting documents is necessary, the deficiencies in that regard shall be informed in writing to the Petitioners requiring the same to be furnished within a time frame of not less than 10 working days for the same;
(iii)in the event of not being satisfied with the requirements even thereafter, an enquiry shall be conducted affording full opportunity of personal hearing to the Petitioners and all other persons concerned to explain their
position in that regard;
(iv)a reasoned order shall be passed dealing with each of the contentions raised on merits and in accordance with law and the decision taken communicated under written acknowledgment; and (v)the report of such compliance shall be filed by 31.03.2024 before the Registrar (Judicial) of the Court". 3.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the order of this Court was complied with. 4.The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that with regard to petitioners 1 to 13, the contempt petition may be closed as orders were passed by the respondents, however, with regard to the petitioner 14 and 15, there are some disputes regarding the order passed by the respondents. 5.In my view, as orders have already been passed, the contempt petition deserves to be closed with respect to all the contempt petitioners. However, if the petitioners 14 and 15 have any grievance against orders passed on 06.06.2025, they are at liberty to challenge the same in a manner known to law.
