PRAYER: Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is filed under Section 483 (1) (b) of BNSS, praying to modify the condition imposed upon the petitioner in para 5(2) in Crl.M.P.No.3515 of 2024 dated 12.11.2024, on the file of the Additional District Judge/Presiding Officer, Special Court for EC Act Cases, Coimbatore.

O R D E R
This petition has been filed to modify the condition imposed upon the petitioner in para(5) in Crl.M.P.No.3515 of 2024 dated 12.11.2024, imposed by the Additional District Judge/Presiding Officer, Special Court for EC Act Cases, Coimbatore.
2. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner was arrested in Cr.No.394 of 2024 on 18.10.2024 for the offence under Sections 8(c0 r/w 20(b)(ii)(B), 22(b), 25 and 29(1) of NDPS Act, 1985. He would further submit that the learned Additional District Judge/Presiding Officer for Essential Commodities Act cases of Coimbatore District had granted bail to the petitioner on 12.11.2024 and imposed a condition "that the petitioner shall report before the respondent police station daily at 10.00 a.m until further orders and thereafter as and when required for interrogation". He would further submit that the petitioner has been complying with the condition for two days, and hence, he seeks for modification of the condition.
3. Heard the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent.
4. Considering the submissions of the learned counsel on 2/4
either side, the condition imposed by this Court in Crl.M.P.No.3515 of 2024 dated 12.11.2024, is modified to the effect that the petitioner shall appear before the Additional District Judge/Presiding Officer, Special Court for EC Act Cases, Coimbatore on all working days at 10.30 a.m, for a period of two weeks and thereafter on the first working day of every month at 10.30 a.m., until further orders.
5. With the above directions, this criminal miscellaneous petition is ordered.
