ORDER

The petitioners, who apprehend arrest by the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 420 & 120B of IPC, in Crime No.132 of 2025, seek anticipatory bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that the 1 st petitioner is alleged to have assured that he would secure Tamil Nadu Government Job for the defacto complainant's wife and brother-in-law. It is further alleged that on the basis of this representation, the petitioners collectively collected and paid a sum of Rs.49,17,000/- between 21.01.2011 and 16.03.2011, but petitioners failed to secure the said jobs and also did not repay the amount. Hence the case.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the petitioners have not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution and they have been falsely implicated in this case. Hence, he sought for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondent police reported that the transactions taken place through the accounts of the petitioners herein and they were also aware of the job racketing and they are actively participated in this crime. He further submitted that the petitioners are habitual offender and two similar cases were pending against the petitioners, hence a detailed custodial investigation is needed in this case. 5.

Considering the submissions made on both sides, perusal of records, facts and circumstances of the case and also seeing the conduct of the petitioners, who collected huge money from defacto complainant by job racketing and a detailed investigation is needed, hence this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners. 6.

Accordingly, this criminal original petition is dismissed. 17-09-2025 gbi
