The relief sought by the petitioner in this writ petition is to direct the respondents 2 to 6 to take action for removal of encroachments and illegal allotments made by the respondents 7 to 11 in S.No.213/1 situated at Kottamettupatty Village, Omalur Taluk, Salem District.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner fairly submitted that the petitioner has not yet made any representation to the respondents for issuance of patta in respect of the subject land and hence, it would suffice, if the petitioner is given liberty to approach the authority concerned afresh for appropriate relief.

3. Granting such liberty to the petitioner, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
