O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking for the relief to transfer the investigation in Crime No.234 of 2014 from the file of the respondent police to any other police station or investigating agency.

2. Inspite of repeated adjournments, neither the petitioner nor his counsel has appeared before this Court for making their submissions. Heard Mr.S.Karthikeyan, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police.

3. Today when the petition is came up for hearing, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police would submit that after registration of the case, the respondent police examined five witnesses and recovered some documents from the Sub Registrar's Office as well as from the Bank. He would further submit that in order to know the nexus between the crime and the accused, it is necessary to find the genuineness of the documents which have https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Crl.O.P.No.33377 of 2019 been recovered from the Sub Registrar's Office as well as from the Bank. However, he asks some more accommodation for filing final report.

4. On the other hand, now on go through the averments found in the petition, no warranting circumstances was indicated by the petitioner for transferring the investigation from the file of the respondent police. Therefore, considering the facts and circumstances of the case, it would appropriate to direct the respondent police to complete the investigation and file final report within a period as stipulated by this court.

5. Accordingly, the respondent police is directed to complete the investigation and file final report within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.

6. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
