PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to transfer the investigation pending on the file of Ambattur Estate Police Station, Tiruvallur District in Crime No. 1085 of 2018 to some other competent agency.

This petition has been filed to transfer the investigation in Crime No. 1085 of 2018 on the file of Ambattur Estate Police Station, Tiruvallur District to some other competent agency.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor has submitted that a case was registered in Crime No.1085 of 2018 under Section 174 of Cr.P.C and after investigation, further action was dropped on 10.07.2019 and with regard to that, a report was filed to the Judicial Magistrate, Ambattur and hence, nothing survives in this petition.

3. Recording the aforesaid submissions, this Criminal Original Petition is closed. The respondent is directed to send an intimation to the petitioner with regard to the action dropped within a week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is open to the petitioner to avail any other remedy which is available under law.
