] This petition is filed by the appellant/accused to implead the de facto complainant as a party to the Criminal Appeal. 2.This Court is convinced with the reasons stated in the affidavit filed in support of the petition. The appellant is the accused in a case relating to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989. Therefore, the de facto complainant is a proper and necessary party to this case.

3.Therefore, this petition is ordered.

4.Registry is directed to amend the cause title and issue notice to the newly impleaded respondent.
