ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition is filed to modify the order dated 07.11.2019 passed in Crl.M.P.No.10946/2019, wherein, the cost of Rs.3,000/- is ordered to be deposited for summoning and cross examining P.W.7, Investigation Officer who is attached to Koyembedu Police Station.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the imposition of cost of Rs.3,000/- is exorbitant and little indulgence may be shown to reduce the cost.

Considering the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the cost is reduced to Rs.1,000/- and the petitioner is directed to deposit a sum of Rs.1,000/- within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
