ORDER
This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents to consider and dispose the petitioners' representation dated 4.6.2025 within a time frame.
2. Mrs.S.Indhu Bala, learned Additional Government Pleader, takes notice on behalf of the respondents 1, 4 & 5 and Mr.S.Ramachandran, learned Standing counsel, takes notice on behalf of the respondents 2 & 3.

3. By consent of the parties, the main writ petition is taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself.
4. The learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that the subject land was acquired by the Tamil Nadu Government vide Notification dated 10.07.1985. Thereafter, the compensation was fixed. However, the said compensation was not accepted by the petitioner family. Further, the Scheme of acquisition was not implemented and the subject lands were remaining unutilized and undeveloped till date. Hence, a representation was made by the petitioners on 04.06.2025 for re-conveyance of the subject land. However, the said representation was not at all considered by the respondent till date. Hence, this writ petition.
5. In reply, the learned Additional Government Pleader and the learned Standing counsel appearing for the respondents would request this Court to grant 4 weeks time to consider and dispose of the representation filed by the petitioner.

6. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader and the learned Standing counsel for the respondents and also perused the materials available on record.
7. In the case on hand, initially, the subject land was acquired by the Tamil Nadu Government vide Notification dated 10.07.1985. Thereafter, the compensation was fixed. 8. In view of the above, this Court directs the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation and dispose of the same on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 4 weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
