Challenging the letter dated 21.04.2017 issued by the third respondent and consequently direct the third respondent to issue passport to the petitioner, the present writ petition came to be filed.

2.Today, when the matter was taken up for consideration, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that subsequent to the filing of this writ petition, the claim of the petitioner was considered and passport was issued to him and hence, nothing survives for adjudication.

3.In view of the above submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this writ petition is dismissed as having become infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
