This petition has been filed call for the records and quash the impugned FIR in Cr.No.5 of 2025 pending on the file of the 1st respondent for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961 and 85 & 3(5) of BNS, 2023.

2.When the case was taken up, the learned Public Prosecutor (Pondy) submitted that final report is filed in 6/2025 on the file of the learned Mahila Court at Puducherry. Such view of the matter, the petitioner is granted liberty to challenge the final report. Accordingly, this petition stands dismissed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition stands closed.
