India, for issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd and 3rd respondents to consider the representation dated 18.07.2025 with regard to cancel the wrong patta and issue patta in the petitioner's land in S.Nos. 284/6 extent 4 cents and in S.No. 284/7 extent 1.70 cents to the 5th respondent, the above land situated at Mullipakkam Village, Tiruporur Taluk, Chengalpet District within the time to be stipulated by this Court. O R D E R

Mrs.S.IndhuBala, learned Additional Government Pleader, takes notice on behalf of the respondents 1 to 4. With consent of both sides, the main Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

2. This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the 2nd and 3rd respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner 2/6

dated 18.07.2025 with regard to cancellation of wrong patta and issue patta in the petitioner's land in S.Nos. 284/6 extent 4 cents and in S.No. 284/7 extent 1.70 cents to the 5th respondent, the above land situated at Mullipakkam Village, Tiruporur Taluk, Chengalpet District within the time to be stipulated by this Court.

The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner submitted a representation to the 2nd and 3rd respondents on 18.07.2025 to cancel the wrong patta issued to the 5th respondent in which an extent of 4 cents in S.No.284/6, pertaining to the petitioner's property was also included and sought to issue patta to the petitioner for 4 cents in S.No.284/6. Since, no action has been taken on the said representation, the petitioner is before this Court by way of the present writ petition.

4. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the respondent concerned would consider the petitioner's representation and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within the time to be stipulated by this Court. 3/6

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also upon the submissions made, this Court without going into the merits of the case directs the respondent concerned to consider and pass orders on the representation filed by the petitioner dated 18.07.2025, on merits and in accordance with law, after issuing notice to the petitioner and also affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as any of the interested parties, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken to the petitioner.
