This writ petition has been filed for direction to the respondent to grant exemption under Section 37-B of the Tamil Nadu Land Reforms (Fixation of Ceiling on Land) Act, 1961, in respect of the lands of the petitioner Trust comprised in SF.Nos.1/3A, 1/3B, 1/3C, 1/3D, 3E1/B2 situated at Pilivalam Village, Thirumayam Taluk, Pudukottai District and lands comprised in SF.Nos.65/1A, 65/1B, 65/1C, 65/1E, 65/1F situated at Pilivalam and Yenappatti Village, Thirumayam Taluk, Pudukkottai District admeasuring totally to an extent of Acre 2/4
100.62 cents within a time frame fixed by this Court. 2.
Heard, the learned counsel appearing on either side. 3.
Without expressing any opinion on merits of the writ petition, the respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's petition dated 25.04.2025 and, after issuance of notice to the petitioner and giving opportunity of personal hearing, to pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of this order.

With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
