This matter is placed before this court today on the basis of the letter dated 04.08.2025 received from the learned Metropolitan Magistrate, CCB & CBCID Court, Egmore, Chennai, seeking extension of time for disposal of the case in CC.No.5238 of 2020, by a period of six months.

2. Considering the reasons stated in the letter, this Court is of the view that it is appropriate to accept the request made by the learned Metropolitan Magistrate, CCB & CBCID Court, Egmore, Chennai.

3. Accordingly, the time for the disposal of the case in CC.No.5238 of 2020, pending on the file of the learned Metropolitan Magistrate, CCB & CBCID Court, Egmore, Chennai, is hereby extended by six months from today.
