This Writ Miscellaneous Petition has been filed seeking to implead the petitioner, the Deputy Director of Handlooms, Salem Circle, Salem, as further respondent in the writ petition.

2.In the affidavit filed in support of the petition, it had been stated that the 5th respondent, Ammapettai Handloom Weavers Cooperative Production & Sales Society Ltd., at Ammapettai in Salem is now controlled by the petitioner herein. It is also governed by the petitioner herein. Alienation and maintenance of the land owned by the 5th respondent are also controlled and governed by the petitioner herein. It is therefore stated that any order passed relating to the 5th respondent should be passed only after hearing the petitioner herein.

smv 3.Taking all the factors into consideration, this Writ Miscellaneous Petition stands allowed. The Registry is directed to carry out necessary amendment impleading the petitioner in W.M.P.No.34679 of 2023 as further respondents in the writ petition.
