ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by S.M.Subramaniam J.) The learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents based on the instructions submitted that proceedings under the Tamil Nadu Land Encroachments Act, 1905, have been initiated. Section 7 notice followed by a final notice under Section 6 was issued and the encroachers preferred an appeal under Section 10 before the District Collector.
2. That being so, all further actions will be continued after the disposal Page No.2 of 5
of the appeal pending before the District Collector concerned. However, the respondents have not committed any willful disobedience, since actions for the eviction of the encroachers have already been initiated.
3. Thus, the Contempt Petition stands closed. No costs.
