Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India prayi ng for issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the second and third respondents to regularize the petiitoners occupation of the piece of land in the Brislee Nagar Settlement Area comprised in S. No 292/3, 292/4, 292/5, 292/6, and 292/7 Block No 17 of Perambaur Village Perambur Taluk, measuring 900 Sq.ft., by issuing patta to the petitioners for the said land by considering the petitioner's representations dated 10.03.2025 and 06.05.2025.

Mr.C.Jayaprakash, learned Government Advocate takes notice on behalf of the respondents. With consent of both sides, the main Writ Petition is taken up for disposal at the stage of admission itself. 2/6
2. This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the second and third respondents to regularize the petitioner's occupation of the piece of land in the Brislee Nagar Settlement Area comprised in S. Nos. 292/3, 292/4, 292/5, 292/6, and 292/7, Block No 17 of Perambaur Village Perambur Taluk, measuring 900 Sq.ft., by issuing patta to the petitioners for the said land by considering the petitioner's representations dated 10.03.2025 and 06.05.2025.
3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioners are the absoulte owners of the property and are in possession of the same. They sent representations to the respondents 2 and 3 on 10.03.2025 and 06.05.2025 to issue patta to the petitioners for the said land by considering the petitioner's representations dated 10.03.2025 and 06.05.2025. Since the same were not considered till date, the petitioners have come forward with this writ petition seeking for the aforesaid relief.
4. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that the respondents concerned would 3/6
consider and pass orders on the petitioners representation dated 06.05.2025 within a time frame fixed by this Court, which was agreed to by the learned counsel for the petitioners.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also upon the submissions made, this Court without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondent concerned to pass orders on the representation filed by the petitioners dated 06.05.2025 on merits and in accordance with law, after issuing notice to the petitioners and also affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as to any of the interested parties within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, and communicate the decision taken to the petitioner.
6.With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
