By consent of both the learned counsel for the parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal, at the admission stage itself.

2. This Writ Petition has been filed directing the second respondent to rectify the petitioner's date of birth as 14.03.1989 in his X standard mark sheet instead of 15.03.1989.

3. The petitioner was born on 14.03.1989 in Chennai District and his birth was duly registered on 20.03.1989 by the Corporation of Madras. However, due to inadvertence while admitting the petitioner into the School, his date of birth wrongly given as 15.031989. In fact, in the petitioner's other documents, his date of birth is rightly mentioned as 14.03.1989.

4. In view of the above, the second respondent is directed to rectify the petitioner's date of birth as 14.03.1989 instead of 15.03.1989 in his X standard mark sheet and re-issue X standard mark sheet within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
