The petitioners, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 28.08.2025 for the alleged offences punishable under Section 123 of BNS Act and Sections 7, 20(1) of COTPA Act and under Section 4(1) (C) of TNP Act, in Crime No.354 of 2025 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police reported that A1 is found in possession of 86 kgs of banned tobacco products and 6 1⁄2 liters of Karnataka State Liquor and also is having one previous case and A2 is having two previous cases.

3. Considering the nature of the allegation and the bad antecedents of the petitioners, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioners.

4. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed. 22.09.2025 dna 2/4
