The petitioner herein was arrested on 03.08.2025 for the alleged offence punishable under Section 8(c), 20(b), (ii), (B) and 29(1) of NDPS Act in Crime No.445 of 2025 on the file of the respondent, seeks bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner along with other accused were found in illegal possession of 1.300 Kgs of Ganja. Hence, the 1/4
case.
3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and no way connected with alleged offence and a false case has been foisted against him. He further submitted that the petitioner is ready to abide by any condition imposed by this Court. Hence, he prays to grant bail to the petitioner.
4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent reiterated the prosecution case and submitted that the investigation is at initial stage and the petitioner is having four previous cases including one NDPS case. Hence, he opposed to grant bail to the petitioner.
5.Considering the fact that the investigation is at initial stage and also considering the fact that there are 4 previous cases pending against the petitioner including one NDPS offence and he was arrested only on 03.08.2025, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed. 24.06.2025 smv To 2/4
