ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to modify the conditions imposed on the petitioner in Crl.M.P.No.7532 of 2025, dated 19.08.2025 on the file of the Principal Sessions Judge, Chennai.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that while granting bail, the Principal Sessions Judge, Chennai, imposed a condition on the petitioner, specifically condition 5(b), that he shall deposit a sum of Rs.6,00,000/- (Rupees Six Lakhs Only) before the XXIII Metropolitan Magistrate, Chennai in Crime No.162/2025. He further submits that the petitioner remains in judicial custody even after being enlarged on bail by the Court of law, which reflects his inability to arrange for the deposit amount. Therefore, he prays for a modification of the said condition.

4. The allegation leveled against the petitioner herein is that, the petitioner has received a sum of Rs.16,00,000/- from the defacto complainant and before Court, at the time of availing bail, he volunteered to deposit Rs.6,00,000/-. Since condition is passed based on voluntary undertaking, this Court is not inclined to modify the condition imposed on the petitioner in Crl.M.P.No.7532 of 2025, dated 19.08.2025.

5.Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. 18-09-2025 gbi Index:Yes/No Speaking/Non-speaking order Internet:Yes
