O R D E R

Pursuant to the earlier order passed on 28.02.2025, the matter was listed for hearing today and the compliance report has been filed by the respondent. The relevant portion is extracted hereunder:

2) It is submitted that as per the order passed by the Hon'ble High Court in the Contempt Petition No.2291/2024 and in pursuance to the order passed in the sub application No.1261/2024 the directions were complied with the orders were given effect. The orders were given effect as specified by this Hon'ble Court and an amount of Rs.5,80,922/-(Rupees Five lakhs eighty thousand nine hundred and twenty two) payable to the petitioner has been given through Cheque No.003909 dated 24.04.2025. The Cheque has been received by the Petitioner on 24-04-2025 and the same was acknowledged.

2.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondent submitted that the petitioner has been restored to his original position and the salary payable to the petitioner has been paid from February, 2025 and the arrears of salary has also been paid.

3.The learned Additional Government Pleader further submitted that as per the earlier direction issued by this Court, a fresh notice has been issued to the 2/4

petitioner on 14.03.2025 and the respondent is now following the proper procedure as was directed by this Court.

4.Considering the above submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader, the petitioner is directed to co-operate for the enquiry by submitting the explanation and the respondent shall proceed further in accordance with law as was directed in the writ petition. 5.Accordingly, this sub application is closed. 28.04.2025 Index: yes/no Speaking Order/Non-Speaking Order ssr 3/4
