ORDER
The relief sought for in this writ petition is to direct the respondents 3 & 4 to measure and lay boundary stones after proper survey over the property comprised in S.No.202/1E extent 1.32 (one acre thirty two cents) situated at Periya Aathur Village, Chetpet Taluk, Tiruvannamalai District by considering the representation made by the petitioner on 18.07.2025.
2. Mr.R.P.Murugan Raja, learned Government Advocate takes notice on behalf of the respondents. By consent of both the parties, this writ petition is taken up for final hearing at the admission stage itself. 2/6

The case of the petitioner is that the property comprised in Survey No.202/1E to an extent of 1.32 cents, situated at Periya Aathuvai Village, Chetpet Taluk, Tiruvannamalai District belongs to petitioner. The petitioner made an online application to survey the land and demarcate the boundaries along with relevant documents and requisite fee. However, the same was not conducted by the respondents. Thus, the petitioner sent a representation dated 18.07.2025 to the respondents, to conduct survey and demarcate the boundaries in respect of the aforementioned property. However, till date, no orders was passed by the respondents. Hence, the petitioner has come forward with the present writ petition.

Though many grounds have been raised in this writ petition, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that, it would suffice, if this Court issues direction to the respondents 3 & 4 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 18.07.2025 to survey the property and demarcate the boundaries by laying stones.

5. Learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents submitted that the petitioner's representation dated 18.07.2025 would be considered and appropriate orders passed, within a time frame that may be fixed by this Court.
6. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.

Considering the limited relief sought for by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondents 3 & 4 to conduct a survey and demarcate the boundaries by laying stones, in respect of aforesaid petitioner's property, after giving due notice and opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner as well as aggrieved persons, if any, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is needless to say, in case of any obstruction being created by third parties, the fourth respondent is at liberty to approach the Police officials, in which case, the Police officials shall render assistance to the fourth respondent to carry out the aforesaid exercise.

8. With the aforesaid direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
