O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed for a direction, directing the respondents to grant patta to the petitioner's land in S.No.106 to an extent of 0.04.0 Ares, Paruthiyur Village, Nannilam Taluk, Thiruvarur District.

2. At the time of admission of the Writ Petition, this Court by order dated 17.09.2025, issued a direction to the 2nd respondent to submit a status report and for his appearance in the light of the Standing Orders of the Board of Revenue. Pursuant to the said direction, the 2nd respondent appeared before this Court and submitted a status report stating that already the request made by the petitioner for issuance of Patta was rejected on two occasions and, that the subject land is classified as Thoppu Poromboke and it is vested with the Panchayat. Therefore, the request made by the petitioner for issuance of Patta for the subject property cannot be considered and the Writ Petition is liable to be dismissed. 2/4

3. In view of the same, this Writ Petition stands dismissed. No costs.
