By consent of both the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as respondents, this writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage itself.

2. The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondents to consider her representation dated 16.09.2024 seeking correction of her name as 'Nagammal' instead of 'Navammal' in respect of Service Connection No.476007961, within the time stipulated by this Court.

3. It is the case of the petitioner that she is the resident of Door No.96, Palla Street, Pazhaiya Colony, Perani Village, Tindivanam Taluk, Villupuram District. She is having electricity service connection in 2/6

SC.No.476007961. In the official records, the service connection stands in the name of 'Navammal' instead of petitioner's name 'Nagammal'. Therefore, the petitioner submitted a representation before the respondents on 16.09.2024 seeking necessary correction in the official records and the same has not been considered by the respondents till date. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court.

Mr.V.Venkata Seshaiya, learned Standing Counsel (TNEB), who is taking notice for the respondents would submit that the petitioner has to submit a proper online application seeking correction of her name in the electricity service connection and if any such online application is submitted, the same will be considered by the respondents in accordance with law.

5. In view of the same, the petitioner is directed to submit proper online application seeking correction regarding her name in the electricity service connection, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. If any such online application is filed within the time stipulated, the 1st respondent is directed to consider the same and pass final orders on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six 3/6

weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

6. With the above directions, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
