ORDER
This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondent to issue patta in favour of the petitioner bearing survey No. 349/16 measuring about 61 cents the property situated at Saduperi Village, Vellore Taluk, Vellore district based on the petitioner representation dated 9.06.2025
2. Mr.R.P.Murugan Raja, learned Government Advocate, takes notice on behalf of the respondent.
3. By consent of the parties, the main writ petition is taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself.
4. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that originally, the subject property belongs to the petitioner's mother. After the demise of his mother, the petitioner and other legal heirs are entitled for the subject lands. Hence, he made a representation dated 09.06.2025, to issue a Join Patta in favour of petitioner and other legal heirs. However, the said representation was not at all considered by the 2/5
respondent till date. Hence, this writ petition.
5. In reply, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would request this Court to grant 4 weeks time to consider and dispose of the representation filed by the petitioner.
6. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate for the respondents and also perused the materials available on record.
7. In the case on hand, originally, the subject property belongs to the petitioner's mother. After the demise of his mother, the petitioner and other legal heirs are entitled for the subject lands. Hence, he made a reprsentation dated 09.06.2025, to issue a Join Patta in favour of petitioner and other legal heirs. However, the said representation was not at all considered by the respondent till date
8. In view of the above, this Court directs the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 09.06.2025 within a period 3/5
of 4 weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
9. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
