Prayer:- Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a writ of Mandamus, Directing the respondent / collector to refer the matter before the competent civil court for determination of market value / fair compensation by considering the petitioner representation dated 09/09/2023.

A communication from the Special Tahsildar (LA-1), Unit-IV, HIghways, Thiruvallur to the learned Additional Government Pleader has been produced today before this Court, wherein it is stated as follows:- " It is submitted that in order to consider the representation dated 09.09.2023, all necessary action is being taken for sending proposal to Civil Court and the same will be completed shortly."
2. Therefore, taking into consideration the fact that the respondents themselves are willing to refer the matter to the Civil Court, no further orders are required to be passed in the Writ Petition except for directing the reference to be made within a period of 3 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.
3. With the above directions, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
