Prayer in W.P.No.35671 of 2024: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondent authorities to include petitioner's name in the computerized Chitta with regard to the property in S.No.574/7 to an extent of about 2 acre 64 cents in Paithur Village, Attur Taluk, Salem District by disposing of the petitioner's representation dated 25.10.2024.

Mr.E.Balamurugan, learned Government Advocate takes notice on behalf of the Respondents.

The limited prayer sought for by the respective Petitioners in the respective Writ Petitions are for a Mandamus directing the Respondents to consider the Petitioners representation to include their name in the computerized Chitta in respect of the subject property. Though over a month has passed since the representation, the Respondents have not proceeded to issue the computerized Chitta. Therefore, the Petitioners are before this Court.

3. On the other hand, the learned Government Advocate for the Respondents would submit that the Petitioners have not made any payments.

4. Heard the learned counsel on either side.

5. In view of the above, these Writ Petitions are allowed with a direction to the Petitioners to make an online payment for making necessary Page No. 3 of 6

entries in the computerized Patta within a period of two (2) weeks from the date of receipt of the payment. The Respondents shall consider the representation of the Petitioners and include the petitioners name in the Chitta within a period of three (3) months thereof. In case of a rejection, a speaking order shall be passed. No costs.
