ORDER

This writ petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 26.05.2023.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that in this case, a representation was filed by the petitioner to re-lay the survey stones in the 4 corners of the petitioner's property in Survey No 40/ 2A, A2, Patta No 1565 in Plot No 62 situated at Sri Kamatchi Amman Nagar, Athivakkam Village, Ponneri Taluk, Thiruvallur District, measuring about 1800 sq.ft. However, the said representation was not at all considered by the respondent till date. Hence, this petition.

3. In reply, the learned counsel for the respondent would submit that the petitioner's representation will be disposed of by the 2nd & 3rd respondents within a period of 12 weeks.

4. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the respondent and also perused the entire materials available on record.

5. In view of the above, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this Court directs the 2nd & 3rd respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 26.05.2023 and dispose of the same, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. It is made clear that the above direction is issued only for the purpose of surveying the subject land and laying the boundary stones. If there is any dispute over the title of the land, the same can be adjudicated before any appropriate Civil Court.
