ORDER

This Court suo moto changes the petitioner's name as ''Veena Jain'' as it was wrongly typed.

2. This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the 1st respondent to process pending application of the petitioners child vide Application Reference No 25-1053071837 dated 18.08.2025 and issue a passport to minor yavi M. Jain, who is under care and custody of the petitioner and consequently, consider the representation and pass

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that this Court may issue a direction to the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation and pass appropriate orders within the stipulated time as fixed by this Court. Further, the petitioner's name in the writ petition has been wrongly typed. The learned counsel prays that this may correct the name of the petitioner as Veena Jain.

4. The learned Central Government Counsel submitted that the petitioner's representation will be considered and appropriate orders will be passed within the stipulated time as fixed by this Court.

5. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Counsel for the respondent and perused the materials available on record.

6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and having regard the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, this Court directs the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 22.08.2025 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

7. With the above direction, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs. 19-09-2025 Rli Note: Registry is directed to carry out the necessary amendment in the cause title.
