The writ petition has been filed to direct respondents 1 to 4 to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 13.10.2017.

2. It is seen that the petitioner has sought for a direction directing respondents 1 to 4 to consider his representation dated 13.10.2017 for police protection. Now, almost two years have been lapsed and hence, due to the lapse of period, the prayer sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted now. However, the petitioner is at liberty to file a fresh petition, on fresh cause of action, if so advised. 3.

With the above observation, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs.
