Heard Mr. C.Kathiravan, Learned Counsel appearing for the Respondent and perused the materials placed on record, apart from the pleadings of the parties.

There is no representation for the Petitioner when the matter is called at 10.44 a.m.

This Writ Petition has been filed for directing the Respondent to select the Petitioner for the post of Lecturers to the Polytechnic College in the Department of Printing Technology under the Scheduled Caste (Arunthathiar) Community by https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Notification No. 6 of 2017 dated 28.07.2017 of the Respondent by considering his representation dated 08.11.2017. 4.

Learned Counsel for the Respondent, on instructions, states that the Notification No. 6 of 2017 dated 28.07.2017 has been cancelled subsequently by press note dated 09.02.2018 and its copy has been placed on record. In view of the subsequent events, nothing remains for further consideration in this Writ Petition.
