ORDER
Today, when the matter is listed under the caption "for dismissal", the learned counsel for the petitioners is appearing through video conferencing.
2. A counter has been filed by the respondents stating that the petitioners are unauthorized occupants of the subject property, since they did not take possession of the properties subsequent to the issuance of assignment patta in their names. A show cause notice was also issued to the petitioners as seen from the counter filed by the respondents before this Court.
3. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that no reply was sent by the respective petitioners to the said show cause notice. According to them, without submitting any reply, the petitioners have filed this writ petition seeking for a Mandamus to direct the 2nd respondent to measure and allot the land in favour of the petitioners as prayed for in this writ petition.

Since the learned counsel for the petitioners is not aware of the full facts and is addressing this Court through video conferencing without full facts and since this writ petition is of the year 2024, this Court is inclined to dismiss this writ petition for non-prosecution, after recording the fact that even on the last hearing, i.e., on 16.12.2025, there was no representation on the side of the petitioners.
